Moved it around in the garage a little bit, sat on it and made vroom vroom noises.
I hate the end of the season

but personaly I dont see a point in a 1000 you can get the same power from a properly tuned 600 with less weight and better handeling.
This past weekend I put some stabil in, topped it off, drug some of my kneecap off to get the carbs full of the new fuel mix, and put her in the garage (probably till spring). Sad weekend indeed.
Un-winterized it now, put battery back in, started it up. Going for one last nice long ride tomorrow. Crazy riding in November, 53 degrees. Should be a good day.
So, I woke up and started tearing carpet (ugly 70's style that's been bugging me for three years) since when I looked out there, it looked kinda gloomy and cold. I get to playing with it and go outside for some air and find that it's 65 and gorgeous! Damn! I shoulda been riding! Oh well, atleast I can take the kat to the harware store.
Rode her to work agian this week!
Usually here in MI it's snowing but over the past few days it's been up in the 60's!!! Needless to say I've been riding as much as possible (over 200 miles this weekend)......NEVER expected to have it out on the road as long as I have had this season.
Hopefully this keeps up fer a bit
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.'
I rode to work.....I am happy now that I put it the airway back to stock and I don't need Voodoo Magic to get it started every morning. Last night, I went through all the connections in the ignition system, trimmed and re did my spark plug wires, it's purring like Kitten (Katten?)
I did have a nightmare about my Kat rolling off the stand downhill and getting jacked the day before my track day....I woke up experiencing an anxiety attack.
Put some more ABS cement on her fairings to fill in the spots from previous owners. Cleaned the chain with PB Blaster and FW1(?). Cleaned the rear wheel where all the chain wax ended up slinging and clinging. Anyone need an almost full can of this c-rud? Rode her to work. Rode her on break(it's starting to be chilly here during the day.)

Went for a 150 mile ride to Ely MN and back. Was 45 degrees when we got back, the kat is tucked away for the year now. Not often we get to ride in November in northern Minnesota.
