  • My pearl/yellow kat 750

    I picked a darker yellow, but the painter said he got carried away with the pearl and it lightened it up alot, almost too much.









    Here is a close up of the paint with the sun on it.

            great look man .. be nice if the stripe went down the tank also .. but i also know thats a major pain in the butt paint job

                  yeah I went to highschool with the painter, and he gave me a little discount for what I do.

                    actually, masking out the tank or most anything for a second color really isnt that tough. Just gotta take the time and care to make sure everything lines up. When we did mine, we just temporarily assembled enough to know where the lines would fall.
                    99% of the questions asked here can be answered by a 2 minute search in the service manual. Get a service manual, USE IT.

                        Yeah he got a good deal. Just to paint my bike red it was 500. Then I added the flames and pin-striping. But the bike looks great. I like the pearl look.
