2001 Speedo Fit 2003?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2003 Katana 600. I got it pretty cheap as it was involved in a front end collision. I'm trying to get the parts to rebuild the front end and I found a 2001 speedo online and wanted to know if it will work in a 2003? They appear to look the same, but I wasn't sure if the internal electronics are different?

Any help is appreciated!

So in terms of interchangeable parts, what years are compatible with 2003?

98 up are pretty much the same. they changed the tail section in 03 (which looks much better than the bumblebee imo). evrything else is the same. some 600 parts interchange as well.

Bought the 2001 speedo off eBay and it's on the way. Can't wait to rebuild this project bike!
