First digit is the pitch (distance between rivets) in 1/8 inches. So "5" is 5/8 or .625 or 15.8mm. 5 series chains all have a roller diameter of 0.400".
The second set of numbers is the width. 20 is 1/4, 25 is 5/16 and 30 is 3/8..Comment
