  • which exhaust should i use?

first of all, what is a slip-on? is that a exhaust?

i have a 01 600 kat, currently i have a hindle exhaust, i like it, but its EXTREMELY loud. i mean even the bike idling its so loud, my parents say they can literally hear me from neighborhoods down ahead... i don't deny it, my cousin has 750 kat with yoshi pipes, i love his 100x more, they're quiet, and sound amazing.

i know you cant hear it, but does a loud sounding bike like mine sound bad?

what do you think i should buy?

Use the search funtion on here. Theres tons of stuff on exhausts. But as a heads-up, everyone on here loves Scorpions or Two Brothers for the most part.

your Hindle is extremely loud?? I'd say its messed up or needs to be repacked then.

As far as exhaust, try the 'search' function. There are hundreds of threads on exhausts.

Oh, and yes, a slip-on is a can and mid-pipe...it 'slips on' to the stock collector.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

You could take it off and ebay the Hindle and buy another pipe while you are at it. Yes slip on is an exaust but it is just the muffler and pipe not the headers. Now a slip on will give your Kat a little hpr upgrade but not much.

No, thats a stock pipe. I haven't taken any recent pics of my bike with the Yoshi pipe on it.

                  This is a Yoshi:

I have the Stainless. Not too loud, but sounds good when you get on it.

Two Bros. M5 V.A.L.E. is the best IMHO. I have the titanium model and get more compliments than any one else I ride with (and even from the guys I ride with ). Nice low rumble while idling and a killer growl when you get on it. No high pitched 'po'd bumble bee sounds' with this pipe!
