I would imagine most use a good auto soap - I use Menzerna Auto Shampoo - any soap for autos is fine, that and plenty of water - before you start scrubbing the dust/dirt into the paint. Try to avoid the tank fill cap as much as possible. I use my compressor and a synthetic chamois to dry her off, followed with a coat of FMJ. Seat gets a shot of Vinylex and she's good to go!

Spray the bike off first, then I use any kind of auto-wash soap (usually armor all or turtle wax brand), dry with an Absorber brand chamois. Follow it up with a good detailing of Honda polish-I love that stuff-aerosol spray, great shine!

Most Kat owners just lick it until it comes clean.
(It's a "KAT"! What are we supposed to do?)

For bike washing, might I also recommend a good micro-fiber washing mit or sponge.

In fact, just use micro-fiber cloths all the way around....washing, drying, waxing, polishing, & Plexus or Honda cleaning.

BTW, I think they may have been correct. It does appear that BLACK is indeed the FASTEST color. R.O.R...R.I.P.M

High pressure spray off, high pressure soap spray, high pressure rinse, synthetic chamios cloth, Pig Snot detailing spray (Works on paint, plastic and chrome. Mostly used by cruiser riders but works great. The more you rub, better it shines!) with micro-fiber cloth, Turtle Wax Ice (2 coats each wash) with micro-fiber cloth, Never Dull on muffler can and pipe. Ride when finished.
