Been riding most of the winter here in VA. Some days mornings in high 20's -high 30's when I leave for work. Evenings usually high 30's to low 40's
What used to scare me is now only mildly interesting

      I don't ride till it's at least 50...
My buddy Mark, he'll ride in -10, just because you think he shouldn't

I've got to repair my brakes in the car but I can't even deal with this cold.
My current rides: (see my garage for a complete history of my bikes)

It's hard to focus on the ride (or the road) when you're shivering...
(I've never really had 'proper' riding gear; just a helmet and whatever leather jacket I have kicking around)

Im with adamodoyle on that one. 50 and above. Idaho doesent use salt, they sand instead so i have to wait till that sand gets kicked off the road. But my car has no rust on it!
Sooo cold! I need more pants.

Yeah, we warmed up to the low 30's yesterday.
But there's more snow on the way this weekend...

I like to do that myself .
Last year when my car started acting up , I didn't feel like messing with it , so started commuting in Feb when it wasn't terrible (ice or rain) , and by April the car was permanently parked . Got snowed on a few times , wet , but got a HUGE kick out of the "did you actually RIDE in that" comments .

I don't mind riding in the cold at all. It is the snow and ice that sucks. Maybe next year I will put studded tires on the Kat That would be sweet!!

Hey we are getting a warm front moving in here over the weekend 30 !
But it is not over yet, I hope for mid April to get this little baby out of the house/ garage.
Finally found my Kat and even before the Spring craziness ... well I guess first the weather needs to allow to work in the garage without freezing off your "Allerwertester"
