    nice!

I would much rather have people see me and say "man, those headlights seem bright!"

Than not see me and say

    "did you hear a thump?"

The harness was $75 shipped, and the HID replacement bulbs WITH the required ballasts was $72 shipped.

Using the science and technology of what I call "addition", the cost worked out to $147!

Yeah, the "look" is awesome, but the functionality/safety factor is waaaaay off the chart - the damn things have a recoil when they fire off!. Also, that was just one bulb installed. I will get a pic or two of both of them in and lit off posted soon.

Sweet man, lookin' forward to it. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the overall install? 1 being putting air your tires, 10 being dismantling every component of the bike and putting it back together.

                I don't know.. Maybe a 2 or 2.1?

In essence, it is just running an easy to as changing your light bulbs. Just run the replacement harness, mount the ballasts with zip ties under the dash, and replace your light bulbs with the HID's, then plug them in.

It did it while I was doing the mesh mod, so I had my skins off the bike. That made it easier to both run the harness, and get my new HID's in.

I will say this, though: Unless you can **** up an anvil and should NOT be left unsupervised with tools, anyone can do this mod, and do it cleanly. If you can take off the fairings, change your light bulbs, and put the fairings back on, you can do this mod.

Did you ever get a shot of picture headlights on high at night?

Im really curious to see one so I can compare it to a shot of my regular headlights on high!

                      Here ya go:

These are the low beams at night. I still need to bring them up a bit, but the light pattern is actually pretty good as it sits. There is a big blob of light, but I am still gonna bring it out a bit.

$150, and about 30-45 minutes... Totally worth it.
