I have always thought i might buy a V-Strom 1000 sometime in the future. But good used ones are far more expensive than a 750 Kat or 1200 Bandit. Much newer GSX650F models are cheaper too,so i think i'll be sticking with my 750 Kat for awile yet. Those 3 bikes are the most capable bikes for the money you can buy! Honourable mention to the Kawasaki ZZR 600, Yamaha YZF 600R.

I like the Kat better. Not a big fan of the VStrom unless you're into that type of riding.
