Sounds like a great day. What in the world were you doing riding on 83 for most of the day and only 20 minutes in the twisties?

Well, I was born in PA as well. However, I lived in Ohio at the time and dont know what a Sheetz is. But every place has thier own little store chains.

Sounds like you had a good day and great of you to stop and help the girl with her tire.

I was just on 83 after I hit some twisties in southern york, (windsor, red lion, etc) and then rode it up to northern york, around manchester, then back down again. Nice well rounded little ride

"laughing to myself that these 3 cops couldnt get a basic car door open for a ford escort..."

A cop worked for over half an hour unlocking my 1991 Mustang a few years back in Detroit. It was getting dark, and he thought I'd end up a statistic if he didn't get me on my way.

Anyway he said the "slim jim" devices don't work so well on modern cars (1991 modern?). If the Ford Escort door had been tampered with many times before in its history, with a coat hanger, etc., the locking mechanism can become very difficult to open without the key.

The worst part is, when the cops cant open it for you, or wont even come in many cases these days to do it.. u can call pop a lock, and they'll get it open in less than 30 seconds almost every time and charge you 40.00 !!!!!!

N4S, I can empathize with your stop & go place. In my travels through Iowa I get a chuckle every time I go by a "Kum & Go". Hate to be working a place like that during Prom season, hehehe.
