I have a phone charger on my bike. All i did was buy a cig lighter hard wire kit. (cigarette lighter with a positive and negative wire coming off it). I tied it into one of lights in the wiring harness so it only comes on when the bike is on.

I'm a cheap bastard, so I bought this $8 cable:
[ame="http://smile.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-081-0069-8-Cigarette-Disconnect/dp/B0041CDPQO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392409600&sr=8-1&keywords=Battery+Tender+081-0069-8+Female+Cigarette+Adaptor+for+Quick+Disconnect"]Battery Tender 081-0069-8 Female Cigarette Adaptor for Quick Disconnect[/ame]

It plugs into this cable which came as part of my Battery Tender setup:
[ame="http://smile.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-081-0069-6-Terminal-Disconnect/dp/B000NCOKZQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392409674&sr=8-1&keywords=Battery+Tender+081-0069-6+Ring+Terminal+Harness+with+Black+Fused+2-Pin+Quick+Disconnect+Plug"]Battery Tender 081-0069-6 Ring Terminal Harness with Black Fused 2-Pin Quick Disconnect Plug[/ame]

The harness is fused, which is reassuring. I routed the end of the harness to come out of the left side fairing hole. It tucks into the frame when not in use and is barely noticeable. When I want to use it, I just plug in the cig adapter and let that sit in my tank bag where I have a USB cig charger plugged in. It works really well.
