why am i seeing two diffrent tails on the katana what year is what. ones poitined and ones not

The ones with the honeycomb pointed tail light are from the 1998-2002 Katana's (both 600 and 750). The other style tail with the same tail light as the busa is the 2003-2006 600 & 750.

The 98 to 02 can be switched with the 03+ if you do not like the boob tail though.

he could be referring to the pointer 88-97 600 tail versus the 750 tail?
