One thing I have noticed that has changed. I see so many more bikes now than I did before I had one. They were still there, I just didnt notice them. Its an attention thing I guess

I too sometimes wave while in the car, because I am so used to it while riding the bike. It is kinda funny catching youself doing that

That kills me, I have heard of setting things on fire...but gluing things together? Now thats just annoying, like our local remote thieves. They just break in and steal peoples remotes. Off topic, sorry.

What's that old saying, "Everybody gets religion in a foxhole"?

I've noticed in the mountains navigating some serious twisties, Harley riders don't seem to mind waving at everybody. The person you snub may be the one having to haul you and your bike up the side of a canyon.

If I'm splitting lanes and a car moves over to give me a little more room I always wave. I figure they're either drivers of good conscience or fellow riders cageing it for the day.

Here is my .02 cents worth. To me it all boils down to common courtesy and respect and often times some people just don't know what that is. They live their lives oblivious to others around them and that is sad.

Some things you learn, others well, they are just part of who you are. Some people get it, but unfortunately some don't and never will.

                      I agree with this completely.

Riders wave, wannabes don't. Some types only nod to each other.

I've noticed that certain bike designs, like feet waaaaay forward and ape hangers, ABSOLUTELY PROHIBIT THE OPERATOR from looking at your machine. They turn their head in the OTHER direction when the rice burner goes by, NOW THAT'S FUNNY !!!

Some buy a bike, some buy an image. I'm out there to have fun and assume that everybody else is too, even the trend-humping lemmings. If you're too cool to wave back, whaaaaaaaatever......
