          98+ mirrors are sweet..

          Hey Thom!! I put my carved out mirror on the kat today.. Lots of vibration.. It looks better but
          all that plastic dampened a lot of wiggle..
          Maybe you want to try yours before spending the time on paint?

            I am sticking with the original set up. I noticed some vib probs also. Nice look though!

              I'm not sure it's a bad thing yet..
              I haven't taken it out for a long enough spin..

              It was a lot of work though..
              The only power tool I own is a drill.
              I cut the triangle out with a couping saw and
              filed it smooth at work

                WOW DUDE, I would not have done it. I used a drill and Jig Saw on mine. It really doesn't matter about the vibes, you still have them with the pre98 stocks anyhow. Is it real violent?

                  I just noticed at idle that the cut up one was blurry..

                  I have to do mods.. I have good hand tools and good hands. But I don't have the cash for tools and such.
