    In my house it is all about the Benjamins... and me keeping as many as possible. I wanted an I4, fully faired bike that could haul and was cheap to buy and insure.

    Comfort, style and speed were secondary considerations.

    There was a B12 at the dealer at the same time and if I had to do it again, I might go for the 1200 instead... it had the older fugly nose fairing with the big square headlight.

                      Well I actually started looking at my kat becouse of the insurance rates and styling . i wanted to have a sport bike n but did not like the idea of having to pay so much for insurance . Than came all the other stuff

                          Style - I was sold on the unique look.

                          Comfort - I didn't want to be folded up

                          Performance - It ate, my Buell and left my buddies X1, during break in!

                          Speed - Not my thing any more, 4th season and 13K mi, still haven't cracked a buck.

                          Price - It was nice to save $2K, but I walked into the dealer planning to drop a whole lot more.
