  • New Toy - 2006 Kat 750

Put about 300 miles on it since last SAt. So far so good.
Still waiting for the end of the break in so I can wind it out and see how she does.
I was wondering if anyone knew the HP and the top end of this bike?

Gave my old Shadow to my wife, she loves it.

93 HP, 49 Ft LBS torque I believe. I have no idea on top end. I've had mine up to 130 MPH or so.

I also had a Shadow before the Kat. Good switch me thinks. 8)

                  So far I like it.
I should be done with the break in this week.
I have a trip to Northern Illinois at the end of June. I am debating on whether to ride the Shadow or the Kat.
I know the shadow is ok for 7 hours, I am not sure about the Kat. I am going to take it up to KY and see how I feel.
