I just traded in my Vstrom 650 in for an 06 Katana 750. I took my Vstrom in for it's scheduled maintence, and sat on a Katana and knew I had to have one. After finding out it was the last year they were in the suzuki lineup it peaked my intrest more. I really have been impressed with the Katana for all the bikes with the exception of the V strom the handlebars were really too low for me, and then sitting on the Katana I was pleasently surprised by the more upright feel of the handlebars. It has more pep once it gets higher in the powerband then the Vstrom and I feel the 750 has more then enough power for me for quite some time as I am still learning and growing as a rider, and I really want to take baby steps in my progression, I really don't want to feel overwhelmed on a bike and out my my class, the dealer was trying to get me on a Busa, and I told him my skill level is nowwhere near that right now

congrats on knowing what your limits are and not letting the saleman talk you into getting the busa. It is refreshing to hear something like that, compared to the riders who ignore their limitations.
Enjoy the new rideI don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
