When I had my 750 motor in my bike it was geared 14/47 (don't know if that's stock or not, it wasn't a stock rear wheel) it did 132.4 (gps) at a little over 13,000 rpm. The speedo was somewhere up in the 150 range, though. Oh, in case anybody was wondering, yes, I did blow that motor up. Perforated the block on #1 cylinder.

Had mine to 140 with about 1/8 inch of throttle left.

Honest to goodness real GPS type top speed - I don't have any hard numbers for you, but my best guess:

        Pre98 600 - 140mph
        Pre98 750 - 145mph
        98+ 600 - 135mph
        98+ 750 - 140mph

Sorry for the ego busting, but the 98+ is a little milder and higher geared stock... I know I can hit an indicated 150mph, but I know in my hear that is not a true number. Expect at least a 10% error on your speedo when going over 100mph. (So indicated 150 is 135ish in real life)

I don't think you can get an honest 160mph out of a CBRF4i, much less a katana. (not counting kat1100)
