    I'm deciding between the 3.5 vs 4.5 inch sliders. Suggestions? Thoughts?

        The 3.5 inch sliders should be sufficient. I had 4 inch sliders and they prevented contact against the ground for casual drops. However, in higher speed drops, it really doesn't matter. The bike will be violently jostling about and damage will arise anyway so the 3.5 inch slider is sufficent.

                            You all make it to difficult for those who dont know to much. All you have to do is go to EBAY and type in frame sliders and you dont have to be a rocket scientist to put them on. Drill a hole throught the frame and support each side with a washer the same diameter as the slider and there you have it. It worked for me especially seeing the bike fall off a trailer at 55 mph on the freeway with minimum damage.
