GSXR's are fuel injected..... no carbs.

The 2000 model GSX-R 600 does have carbs. It switched to FI in 2001.

In the late 90s the srad gsxrs were fuel injected.

GSXR600 was not fuel injected until 2001. The 750 and 1000 I think were 1998.

the rider makes all the difference i can beat my friend off the line and out in front until he hits third i have a 750 kat and he has a busa. no way that should happen i have just been riding longer

You friend must be a spankin new driver, cuz there is no way that he should even have to be in 3rd to beat you. He should only have to be in first, maybe 2nd.

its his first bike and im happy to say he hasent killed himself yet i tried to talk him out of buying it i dont think it should be anyones first bike. plus he has dropped it twice just learning to ride, very sad, for the bike.
