My dealer got one in this week (used) that has a fairing on it. It looked great! It's not quite as modern looking as the Kat, but it still looked great. One of the guys I hang with just bought a used SV1000 and it does sound great. I wasn't able to see the exhaust on it, but I was surprised by how tough it sounded.

congrats...i do have few specific questions, because I am looking for more power...

                            I have an 05 Kat 750,

Is there a noticeable difference in power/performance and handling than your Kat? Can you give some details as to what the differences are in handling, weight, comfort, braking, riding position? I was thinking about a BUSA, but that is very high dollar and with added insurance...

                            congrats on your new bike...

are you going to get full fairing kkit for it?

Thats the temp of the bike not the temp outside right? At least thats what it is on my gsx-r. You have to watch the temp of the bike if your weather temp is like that. Its not the kat, its not air/oil cooled. 116 is nothing though. I let the gsxr warm up to 115 before taking off. Just wanted to forwarn you of that in case you didn't know
