88 1100 valve seats

I have an 88 Kat 1100 I just got in the K&L carb rebuild kit the needle size on the kit is 2.0 and the one that was in the carb was a 2.8 wondering what to do know as all the kits I have called on come with the 2.0 neddle and seat. Thanks

Please anyone... No one has every rebuilt their carbs and looked at the needle and seat.

I don't think it matters too much, they are there to feed the carbs and stop them from flooding. They open and close as the floats rise and fall according to demand from the engine. So long as they seal when the floats are raised all should be good
