I`ve started this driving season with a refreshed bike. Engine overhauled and new paint all over. New battery, brakepads, swingarm bearings..
I also went up from 15 to 16t front sprocket, most because i think the bike has too low stock ratio; and less wear on the sprocked because of the increased rolling diameter, and lower (i hope) fuelconsuption. Engine speed is 3100 rpm at 50mph, and the bike feels more relaxed to drive.
The heavy oil consuption is history, and the sparkplugs got a better and longer life. I keep the rpm under 4000 during the break in (800 km)
I have 400km more to go before i have to change oil and "spann her up". So far so good, no leaks or bugs. Fingers crossed..
