  • Opinions on the best Clutch Kit

I am soliciting the experience of anyone who wants to share their 2 cents on the best clutch kit for a 1992 1100. Any thoughts out there?

Depends what kinda clutch you want. Racing, hands down Barnett. Street riding, EBC or OEM. If you're in stop and go traffic with Barnett clutch springs. You'll have Popeye looking forearms in no time.

These posts are exactly what I am looking for.

mreedohio, did your EBC kit include both the friction and pressure plates?

On the other hand, I could use a bit more upper body work out...

            EBC on Ebay

I picked up a set of EBC friction plates and EBC springs on Ebay for 140 shipped. Planning to use the existing steel plates.

Sweet, thanks...once my tax refund comes in it will be utilized for the EBC clutch kit. Given the PO and his penchant for maintenance (none) I will be looking for new steel plates as well.
