  • GSXR 750 head

Can someone enlighten me on which year GSXR750 head to use one the big kat. I was pretty sure it was either late 80's or early 90's. Thanks in advance.

      750 head

That would be the much sought-after dot head from the '88 and '89 GSXR750.

The combustion chambers are smaller so it's supposed to up the compression. But I doubt the valves are big enough to handle the bore. Plus, Suzukiray says it's a good mod too do, and I'm pretty convinced that the exact opposite of what he says is the correct thing to do.

Same size valves as the 1100's which is one of the things that makes it work VERY WELL.Ran my setup 2 years no problem with stock carbs and stock jetting with 4-1 !
