The spacers i took out are 7 7/8" (200 mm). I was planning to make PVC spacers at 9 1/16" (230 mm), adding 20 mm preload. My Kat is really sagging, on bumps the horn hits the fender, plus I weigh 240 lbs.
At 9" what was the ride height like?
Why did you take them out?1988 Katana 1100 (sold)

I was 240 when I did mine, trust me 9" is enough. It is hard to compress them at that length toTDA Racing/Motorsports

progressive springs , the way to go
Its done, much stiffer and better ride. Used a 4 1/2 spacer with the springs. It also raised it about 3/4 of inch. This is the better solution.
Although the 3/4 spacers on top of the stock setup worked not to bad with occasional bottoming out.
Anyone want these 3/4" spacers, i'll send them by mail. please PM me.1988 Katana 1100 (sold)
