We had a collie x shepard on the farm that was well over 100 pounds
My cousins boyfriend would do the high speed pass on a dirt bike while he was chained up
The dog hated anything with a motor other than cars from that point
When I would cut the lawn with lawn tractor the dog would grab the front tire and lift it off the ground while moving
This dog was friendly towards everyone but my cousin's boyfriend messed him up

I just had my first dog experience yesterday. The MSF tells you to slow until you are perpendicular to dog, then accelerate past. It was dark and I was coming up on a car pulled over by a cop (pointing the opposite direction on 2 way road). I slowed to like 5 miles and hour b/c the cop was walking up on the car(middle of road). Right when I got up on them, 2 big dogs ran out from a driveway trying to bite tires. I twisted the throttle and got out of there! Haha. That cop didn't look happy.

You definitely don't want a dog running out in front of you. You're better off slowing down so that they come towards you and not run in front of you to cut you off

lol!!! MSF says to slow down them speed up as they approach to throw their timing off.

Whats worked for me everytime so far, and has been on a bike's with loud exhausts. Do what the msf says, but before you speed up and as your slowing down, pull the clutch and rev it hard. Usually the sound scares them ( ~ 100 Db is LOUD) ... if not then your already in a position to drop the clutch and go....

Twist pray and hang on. The kat is a good heavy bike for dog hunting. My experince, Kat 1 dogs 0. After he went under the bike he didn't chase anyone else. Of course this only works with smaller dogs.
