more often then not, i have found that if u grab alot of front brake, the front wheel is goin to lock up, and thats it... no stoppie... just u sliding on ur side, think "god dam it" ... doin a stoppie on a katana actually takes alot more skill then one would think, due to the weight of the bike... so to answer your question, if your braking technique is off, or road conditions are bad... the front will lock up... be careful out there
