  • My Footpeg Brackets

Big thanks to Micladen. He was polishing out his footpeg brackets and I asked him how much he wanted for them. So we just swaped mine for his. He got them all polished out and you would think these had been chromed. I am thinking that I should have just gave him my forks too. I would have them back by now. Anyway here is a pic of just the left side. The right side looks the same.

Either way polishing is not a "just press the button" process. BTW how are you clear coating them?

Jimmy they look great mounted up.

Polishing is just time consuming. Not as fast as chroming them, but I believe polished aluminum makes a different statement over chrome.

Not sure yet. I think I will be doing an Old Truckers trick. That is putting corn meal over them to help keep the shine. Andy told me about this and Dale knows it too. Something in it helps keep the oxidation down alot. Besides Dale gave me some of the stuff he used on them. So I can keep them looking purdy and all.(Just for you Matt )
