I see the snorkles for intake and exhaust but how'd he keep the plug wires from shorting out?

I suppose. The only thing I've ever run deep enough to cover the engine was a military HMMWV. That's diesel-powered (JP-8 aircraft fuel, actually) so no plug wires to worry about and those things are designed to be submerged.

I'd be terrified if hitting some obstacle, or my bike suddenly dropping out from under me.
Maybe that's the reason for the helmets...ハイどーぞバカ外人!

Good point Scout! I've gone swimming plenty of times with my quads an a couple jeeps but never on 2 wheels lol. I know river rocks are ridiculously slippery I couldn't imagine it could be a while lot better.
But like hardlydangerous said as long as your intake is out of water your good, even if the exhaust goes under as long as you keep on the throttle to keep pressure pushing back the water your good. It makes quite a funny gurgle lol. Also seen it go bad though when the engine sucks in water thru intake or exhaust and your stuck floating/tumbling down river :/94 GSX600F, V&H 4-1 Supersport exhaust
