  • Finally finish my 97 kat project...

    Well i have done alot of work to my Kat and finaly got here back on the road...just got the plastics back today from the paint shop and boy does she looks sexy..

              Order a new Screen, tank pad and flush mount signals....Does any one have any ideas on cutting the tail section for a cleaner tail piece...post your pics and ideas...

                1. Remove 600 tail and subframe.
                2. Install 750 tail and subframe.

                Done!

                Other than that, she's looking really nice.

                    89-97 750s are all the same. From what I remember reading on here it should be a bolt-on so long as you replace the subframe, seat, fairings, passenger grab bar and taillight. You might have to swap out the inner fender. Most guys go the other direction but I've never understood that. I like the squared-off look of the 750 better.

                    If you go that route send me a PM. I've got an inner fender and grab bar you could have for the price of shipping.

                              not to say bills advice is bad, but if your going to be changing the body of the kat, just get a 750 kat, same look, more power.

                              also if you want to keep the 600 tail there are 600 fender eliminator tutorials on the forums, just use the search up top when your looking for a thread.
