ok guys, sorry its been so long since any updates... been busy as hell with work, and the rebuild... but she's done!

so, here is the (re)build

started off tearing her down ( i swear i have become a pro at this... i can get all the plastics off the bike in under 10 minutes now)



then came fixing that nice big crack... plastic weld time





then, i like to throw in my own mix of fiberglass resin and jb weld for extra flexability and strength



then sand it all down to a perfectly smooth finish



now its time to get those pesky old decals off



done



and now its time for the repainting

with the rear fairing, i figured it would be easier to just tape off and paint a section, then pull the whole piece off

and the final product!!!!! SHE'S BACK!



new vortex sprocket kit (+3 out back and -1 up front) with rk xring chain



new pazzo levers




well, there my sorry little rebuild.... wish i could have done another "complete" tear down, change everything build... but having a full time job, two other projects (show truck, and mustang), wife, dogs... and everything else... this will just have to suffice for now. atleast she's back to her former glory... let me know what you guys think

Dude...frame sliders.

Might not have save you from all the damage but might have cut some of it out. Glad you are going to rebuild. It's a sharp bike.
