  • Fender Elim. and new CA lens'..56k beware

Just spend the evening putting on the CA lenses, thanks to Taz for hooking me up, and also finishing putting the bracket on and chopped off the rest of the shovel. I had it most of the way on a couple days ago while the weather sucked and I wasnt riding, but just had to tighten everything down and get the rest of the bolts back on the tail. Looks schweet, and what a difference the lenses' make too. All thats left is to paint the bracket yet. I didnt paint it first because I wasnt sure how much of it would show once it was mounted and since tomorrow is gonna be nice, I just left it silver so I could ride to work and be all legal like..but enough of it shows that i'll need to paint it black so it doesnt stick out so much

Here are the pics..disposable camera's can definately suck so sorry if they are alittle dark but you can get the idea. Better pics will be taken tomorrow at ride some friends and I are going on, hope to get some nice scenic shots as well.

Thanks again Taz and to ThazKat for the bracket. And a HUGE thanks to crunchie for helping me w/ the projects, her smaller arms and hands definately came in handy when putting on the lenses.

Here's the start after taking off the license plate and loosening the signals.

Tail section removed for easier access to the shovel

1 slightly used shovel, free to a good home

Finished look at the new bracket, all it needs is painted yet, but since I didnt have any black spray paint handy, I'll do it probably tomorrow.

Side view.. really cleans up the rear end nicely.

New CA front lenses as well..I kept the white bulbs in instead of using the amber, looks much better I think.

Come to think of it, I have some blue/gray paint left from the cowl, I'll just paint the bracket to match
