that's insane! I knew that the gp bikes were light and powerful, but not THAT light. rd/rz 350 would have eaten that 600rr alive -- to the point of embarassment

Not even close, sounded like the 600 had around 4k rpm left even on the longer straights when he was easily walking away from the little 125. Most of the vid sounded like the 600 was running between 6k and 9k rpm, sometimes lower, and he still had to wait for him to catch up on every corner. If it was walking it that bad in the low to mid range, once it gets into the power (over 10k rpm) it would be over quickly. Not Even a RZ350 wouldn't stand a chance against a modern 600 with equal riders. The RZ did ok back in the 80's against the 600's of it's time, but there's a huge difference between those bikes and what's available now.John,
