You have to do the 03+ tail first before you can do the 03+ undertail.Chrome Project Part 1

Search around online for "Crazy Creations Undertail". I bet that you can find them on Fleabay too. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Suzuk...Q5fAccessories)-Izzy

excellent work man.. i dont have as much faith in my ebay leds as to perminantly install them into bodywork but what you have done is amazing. I am currently painting my bike via shaker can as well.. i am, however, using duplicolor. using the same formula (3primer+3color+3clear=NICE!) i hope to see what mine turns out like after rubbing compound.. a few quick questions tho. Between primer, color, clear, how long did you wait before laying the next part? I held off approx 10 mins between every coat or until the previous coat looked dry enough. Also you said you hand rubbed the panels with rubbing compound? you wet sanded clear first after drying?

Here is the link to the company that makes the undertail I purchased. http://krazykreation.net/bodywork_suzuki.htm
I did first convert my tail section to the 03+ style and the swap was fairly easy to do. The most work was trimming the wheel well plastic to make room for the undertail. To do this conversion I purchased an original 03+ tail, the longer seat lock cable, and the Krazy Kreations undertail kit which came with the lights. I made the liscence plate bracket and used an led to light up the plate.
Ciphony - When I painted my parts I first sprayed them all with the primer and let them dry atleast a day. Then I lightly wet sanded to smooth them. Then I gave them a couple coats of paint and let them dry atleast a day. I then lightly wet sanded again to smooth the paint but still have a nice base of color. Then I gave the pieces one more coat of color and cleared them. I tried to wait 10 minutes between all my coats. After I was done painting I left all the pieces sit for about a week and then very very lighty wet sanded, but be careful since the spray paint is really not thick. I then used a fine rubbing compound to shine all the pieces up which made the most difference and you can feel the difference in smoothness afterwards. Hope this helps.99 Katana - 08 WR250X - 77 Chevy Vega - 89 Caravan 3.0 - 89 Caravan 2.2 Turbo - 07 G5 - 04 Sierra
