Aw dude... I hope they didn't rock you too bad for the gap insurance. I bought mine from the insurance company for $20/yr.

I did not see that option with Rider. And it is about the same I paid for the last bike.


Did you get the service contract to not pay for any factory service? I think it is a bit overpriced but I have yet to take anythign up there for service to know the roundabout prices that they charge...

No, I don't do service contracts. First service on the sprint was $187

Yeah I think they wanted like 750 or something for it. I figure that is a solid 3-4 years worth of service right there.

I need to get a torque wrench and will probably just change my own oil here at the house.

After reading through what's required to check the valves on my sprint... I'm probably just going to let them do it... but it's still two years or 20k miles away from the first check.
