  • GoPro Camera Card List

I figured this would be a good place to post what cards are working for people in the GoPro cameras.

Add the manufacturer name, card size and type, and how the card was formatted (if you know) to make it easier for others to verify the cards will work in their cameras.

    Boots up and records:
    Dane-Elec 4GB SDHC FAT32
    SanDisk UltraII 4GB SDHC FAT32

Um. Short of leaving it turned on, I have no idea. Give me a few weeks. The card does boot up and allows video to be recorded to it....

      Good question.

I use a SanDisk 2GB card that works very well. There was no need to format it, it automatically makes a GoPro folder when you shoot video with the GoPro! I also use it in my Canon Sure Shot digital camera. I have heard there was supposedly a firmware out that allows the GoPro to accept 4GB cards, but have not confirmed this. The 2GB is plenty for me so far, I just save the video and use the space on the card over again.

The camera boots up and records on the 4GB card, but I've not tried to just let it run yet.
