  • October was an interesting month...

Kinda lumped everything all together, so I didn't know where I should post this.
I hope this is alright. Mods, please move if necessary.

Well, I went on the coldest, most wet ride ever. And, not in a good way.
    Still had fun, though.

Then, I received my new(ish) saddlebags. Big thanks to frosti108.

2 days after I test fit the bags, some guy makes a left turn in front of me. No signal, no looking...
I ended up breaking both my right wrist and left forearm and my left foot swelled up like a balloon!

I guess the bad luck had to balance out the good

Anyways, bike is totalled but I'm still alive

Already had a sushi celebration when I got my right cast off last Monday.
As soon as the left comes off and physical therapy is done, I'll be parting what's left of my bike.
Just a heads up for people looking for parts. And if you're close by, feel free to drop by
and pick something you might need from my bike. I wouldn't mind the company.

PS- KatRiders kicks so much arse it should be illegal... wait... no it shouldn't.
    But it does rule

Glad to hear you're well on your way to recovery and there doesn't sound to be any permanent issues other than the bike. Musta sucked being casted on both arms, you gotta have an understanding wifee or gf, feeding is one thing, but what about everything else.

The nurse asked me the same question and I guess she expected a "no"...
                            Boy did I surprise her.

Ya, my fiancee is a definite keeper. She doesn't even mind if I get another bike. Probably cuz I don't
ride like an idiot. I think I'm gonna hold out till after the wedding next year before I get back on the
horse... unless I find a deal I just can't pass up

I don't think that'd be such a good idea. One cast, maybe... but two???
