it doesn't use the front wheel, but of I'm not mistaken the 98-03 front wheel still had the notches for a speedo pick-up. All you would need to do would be to get the cable and pick up (I think I have one at home)...if you go this route let me know.

Ahh I see, those pic do not actually show the pick change... The Bandit cover had the pick up hole etc.. I think you need to take charge on this one. Either cut the hole needed in the 1100 cover or see if your old cover fits on the 1100.

Right, And it may have only been early model '03s that have the notch and spacer.

I can't use the 2006 cover, need hydraulic clutch set-up for the 1100, perhaps a bandit cover would fit on the 1100 and I would have the hydraulic clutch set-up and also the speedo pick-up hole. I would still need to mod the pick-up at the shaftend to make it work. Wonder if the bandit cover would bolt on the 1100 engine?
