Well I did it...

Well I took the plunge and bought a great 2006 GSXR1000 from a great guy here in Albuquerque, NM. The dude, Lance is in the military and will be attending canine school so he gave me a great deal. The bike only has 1340 miles and some mods... What a huge difference between the Katana and GSXR1000, that engine is unbelievably smooth and the power is also smooth. Although I had never ridden the 1000 series bike its not a "bite your azz" bike like I read. The GSXR just makes great smooth power, kinda like, dare I say, my goldwing, lol... A special thanks to Lance for giving me such a great deal on a great bike...

Soooo if there in anyone in the Albuquerque NM area that would like a cherry 2006 Katana 750 mine is up for sale... Great bike and excellent... PM an offer...I'm holding back tears but I'm ready to let'r go...

The mohawk is funny but it belongs to Lance. He was cool and was going to throw in a helmet but I have a big head, they didn't fit, lol... I've got a fairly new scorpion exo that I bought for the katana so I'm set. Just took a short ride, its like 98 degrees out there too damn hot today...

I was just looking at an 07 gix1k today that had a Taylor Made GP exhaust that was ridiculous..... I'm on the fence cause the dealer acts like he's cutting me a deal for it ($1200) but I know better...

$600 for the exhaust from their site, and I would spend it if I had your bike.... It sounds awesome....
