my deep red metalic kat, just finished rebuilding the bike going for salvage inspection next week

Great fun, just rode today for 5 hours, tired but what a great bike the katana turned out to be...

When I got back from my ride to the crest of the sandias I checked my tires, I was running the tires at their limit, scary but I guess thats what the katana was made for. Still amazes me that these bikes are shunned upon when they handle so well...

I toss my Kat around all the time in the hills. Never had a problem w/ it.. I love my Kat. Being here on KR.com makes me like it more, knowing others have similar bikes, experiences on their bikes.

Now when I rode my buddies 750gixxr, hello, yea... BIG differencee there. Light and when I leaned her over, I felt like I was going to fall over.

Kat's rule man. It's our mission to prove to them Gixxmonkeys that were just as cool.. hah...
