  • Madman has gone nuts.

Well, hate to say it, but, the Kat has been traded. Not that I didn't like my old bike, but..... I could not pass up this one.

It needed a paint job when I got it, but after about 4 nites sanding and painting, the end result turned out better than I had hoped for.

Thanks Y'all! It was the flop black / green paint, but looked like some one threw sand in the paint. The wheels were already yellow in the center and grey on the lips, or else I would have gone with another color. Pulling the wheels and repainting them is a pita, and it was originally a yellow bike, so..... I went back yellow. It is much brighter than stock, and is called Chrome Yellow. I traded my Kat for it, and no money to boot, so... I think I turned out good. Plus, this is fuel injected, and that is what I was looking for. :P It's one year older, but less miles, and more performance, plus... Had new Pilot Powers on it. Nice thing is that the dragon is about 3 hrs away from me, and it's cooling down. Perfect weather for a fun ride!

Date of manf was April 1999, and yup, it is fuel injcted. So... I'v been told that due to date of manf, it could be a 2000 or 1999. Not sure... but... Either way.. don't care. :P
