Formula car is a 1996 Van Diemen converted to run in the FS (Formula Super) class with a GSXR 1000 engine. Its also dry-sumped and has a TRE/Taylor Quaiffe limited slip diff., Mychron data, Ohlins shocks, yada yada. Just ordered a new engine... it will have a built GSXR 1070 with all the trick goodies- should make about 180 at the wheels. Does not sound like that much but with me in it the weight is 1025lbs. Power to weight its better than almost anything w/ 4 wheels.

New F1000 cars can be picked up for aprox $30k. Used cars, like mine are worth $15-$25k depending on condition. It would take $25 to get mine, but I've got 2 years (and $$$$) invested in building it. It was also Greg Lemond's ride in the 1997 F2000 series so she's got some history.2001 Katana 750
