That's an issue with the M60?? I know ya gotta deal with that on the Ma Deuce.... Of course, i think head space and timing adjustments sometimes need to be done on the 5 inch area between my ears.

You are right jgmann.... no adjustment for the M60. Just for the M2 .50 cal machine gun. Which is a BLAST to fire off.

I agree though... some times an adjustment is needed for prople too. In the motorpool we call it "operator head space and timing".

Back in '86, I took my Kaw out through the trails around the back side of Ft Ord, CA. I'd been on these trails probably a dozen times or more. But, this time thru, I buzzed around a blind curve to the right (instead of going straight or going left like I had done so many times before).

SURPRISE!! It was a sharp drop-off about 30-odd feet down. I went one direction and the Kaw went the other (over the cliff). It took me a couple hours to walk what was left of her back to the motor pool.

"JEEBUS, Specialist Mann, WHAT the F@#$ did you do to your bike??!"

"Uhhhh... would you believe operator headspace and timing??"
