Leather Jacket Nightmare

Hello everyone, I am sick and tired of finding these GSX-R and Busa leather street jackets. Is there any Katana custom street leather jackets in the world? I know that Im not the first person to ever think about this, please help me end the nightmare. I was thinking about getting the Joe Rocket Suzuki jacket and taking the GSX-R patches off but if Im am going to spend $500 I do not want to have to make any mods to it. Is there a shop that will do custom work for us instead? Thanks..

I have seen one leather Katana jacket on ebay, But it was purple and didn't look vary nice to me.
I am sure almost any leather shop would fix you up with something for the right price.

ZukiFred, Thanks for the reply buddy, the only problem is here in my part of NJ all of these leather/motorcycle shops handle only the "Cruiser" type stuff. Not must for street riders.

I know that someone posted a link to a custom leather shop that does mail order buisness a week or so ago, but I can't find the post. Bradda maybe posted it?

I don't see why the leather shop wouldn't be able to make whatever you wanted.... Have you asked?

You can either get a jacket, have GSX600F/Katana patches made and sewn on or you might talk to a custom shop (Z leathers out here) and see what they can do. I had a jacket (not motorcycle) that had the GSX600F embroidered on it (look in the Southwest forum/trackday, my daughter is wearing it) from ebay so good luck with your search.

Steve, thanks for your reply, yea one would think that the local shops would be able to help me. Unfortunatly that is not my reality. By the way, nice bike, there are not too many of those around here.

SOUPDADY, Thanks for your reply, yea it looks like I will have to go custom for sure. In the mean time I will continue to "smooth out ruff edges".
