That looks like a really nice tent, but too expensive for me to consider that, yet. Maybe down the line maybe. For now, my two person dome tent works just fine, and it's small to pack.

I learnt the hard way (well.. the wet way anyway) that my bike is relatively waterproof. :P

She can sleep outside. (doesn't hog the covers that way)

Would be nice if you're setting up a base camp somewhere, but for camping off the bike, it's way too big and heavy. My bikes have no problems riding in the elements, much less sleeping in them.

It's a little heavy at 6 lbs but it goes up in about 5 minutes (by myself), keeps me dry in heavy thunderstorms and packs back down in nothing flat. Sometimes it'd be nice to be able to stand up inside but I'm willing to live without that. The bike can just get wet.

I tried using a tent on my bike before but it wouldn't stay erected doing 80mph on the motorway - useless! So I'm going to try using Pensione places during my summer tour of Spain and France. Prices look very reasonable vs camping and SkaldedKat can sit outside and be admired .
