  • who's helmets have hidden tint visor?

Probably going to be in the market for a new lid this season
Liking the idea of a hidaway tint visor because I leave before sun up most days but come home mid day
I usually wreck a few pairs of sunglasses every season so it makes sense to get rid of them
Just looking for feedback on what you guys are wearing

Scorpion EXO 500. Flip down tinted visor inside....it's the cat's ***! Although if you can spring it I'd suggest the EXO-1000. Better quality brain bucket overall, and less wind noise too.

I was looking at the exo 1k, I ended up buying the RF1k because I wasn't comfortable with the amount of padding they removed to fit the visor.

      Plus it felt super heavy.

my hjc fs-10 has it and the newer fs-16 has it too. A few icon's I have seen had it. Scorpions too. The HJC ones are changeable. Not sure about the others.

Nero's new one does. I bet he'd respond, but he's probably busy...

Have you thought about a silver tint visor for your existing lid?
I do a lot of night and early morning riding.

its a very light tint that works perfect in low light conditions but mid day...the silver mirror finish deflects 90% of the light.

                      My new favorite helmet.
Here's a great helmet from Scorpion. Good basic colors, nothing too weird, and some really thoughtful features. They're all listed above in the bullet points...

My lid of choice is the Shoei RF1100 and a tinted shield. However, having to dink around with a extra shield is pain but not that big of a deal. This year at the motorcycle show I decided to pick up an e-Tint.

I have not installed it yet but it looks and seems well made. So if you don't want to buy a new helmet give this a look.
