European Helmets...they look really cool

I was at the Toy's for Tots ride here in CA and saw this guy with a really cool helmet... I asked him what brand it was and he said it was a ROOF helmet made in France...I did a google search and came up with the helmet...really nice looking but not DOT approved...there is a company here in the US that makes a similar helmet...Simpson...another Euro company is Craft...nothing to do with cheese or witches...LOL..nice lid.

and this one from AGV I think you can get a mask for it that looks like a pilots O2 mask...


I think the visability is a factor in the full face ones (like the Simpson)
so it is OK for Racercar use but not motorcycle..

Yup, kinda Darth Vaderish. Kinda cool, probably not as aero as normal cycle helmets, but cool for stunting and crap.

Those helmets are secretlydesigned and marketed by Jedi to support the "Jedi Council". How do you think we can do all the galactic traveling? Oh yeah and those light sabers aren't cheap ya know. Gotta go now and do some mods on the ol' hyper cycle now.

Yes the Roof one has a "flip up face"...I've seen it up close and it is a sharp looking helmet...but I read on one review that people had their complaints about it....I guess the lens fogs up really badly...and how much the helmet would protect in a crash is still being determined...even though it is EC2205-P certified...

Yeah, they looks nice and arent too much expensive, but the modular thing... I would buy one for dayly/city use. They look awesome with the mirror shield!

Check out this months Two Wheel Tuner magazine they have the CRAFT helmet...the third one on my first post....They are finally available in the US and are DOT approved....kind of neat news...

i reckon they are butt ugly personly, but hey.. each to their own!!
