    Im trying to buy jacket for winter so i could ride. any tips on which type of jacket is the best for that kind of weather. i live in NJ so it gets kinda cold here in winter. so im trying to find something warm to weath.

      As long as its windproof you can just wear a couple of layers underneath and you'll be fine. anything leather.

        Here, in NJ you definitely want some waterproofing and you might want to look into some grip heaters. I gave up last year about the end of November.

              A windproof touring style jacket (Cortech maybe) and a fleece under it is my next thing to try.

              Currently I have:
              Snowmobile pants that I wear under loose fitting jeans, snowmobile gloves, a balaclava under my helmet, leather jacket w/ a fleece layer, and a bullet proof vest (for work, it's the only time of year it is actually comfortable to wear) for insulation.
