Looking for a good pair of leather gloves that won't break the bank, like the looks of some of the alpinestars...any suggestions?

I have a pair of SP1s that I really like, I paid like $120 for them.
My JR Meteor gloves were like $12.90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Shop ironpony.com, newenough.com and motorcyclesuperstore.com....
I like the fit of the fieldsheers... But there are plenty of options for quality gloves for less than $100.
You need to decide what you want them for - cool weather, all season or summer riding. Personally, I'm more comfortable with leather, gel palms, armored knuckles..."Men will get no more out of life than they put into it."
